​How to help
The home is constantly looking for volunteers who can assist with everyday duties, duties like ironing, cooking, assisting with homework and playing with the kids. They also welcome any kind of food, stationery, clothes and toy donations. See "about" and "donate" for more details
Tutorship
The campaign uLwazi lethu liKamva lethu ran by some group of 2013 NMMU students would like that Xhosa tutors continually go to the home long after the campaign is over and assist in arrears such as talent development, communication skills, computer literacy and problem subjects.
​Latest project

The latest project running at Sinethemba Childrens Care Centre is one called uLwazi lethu liKamva lethu ran by Maya Fanti and Sandla Mneno, PR students at the Nelson Mandela Metroploitan University. This project has four main objectives; to raise awarness, to raise funds, to get tutors and to get sponsors.
